This is not the first re-release of MÜTIILATION’s subtly titled „Destroy your life for satan“ and it probably won’t be the last either - but it’s a beautiful version of this gem and a welcome occasion to sing praise to the genius that MÜTIILATION always was. This obscure French entity, emerging from the dubious circle of „Les légions noires“ in the glorious 90’s embodies the majesty of decay that’s so integral to the genuine feel of Black Metal like hardly any other band. Everything, from the spelling of the band’s name to the promo shots (remember the legendary wheelchair-cover of „Black Millennium (Grimly reborn)“) breathes degeneration and an unmistakably WRONG feeling that makes MÜTIILATION feel so perfectly RIGHT to the initiated. „Destroy your life for satan“ is a demo recording from the second incarnation of the band and features four original compositions and a Venom Cover. Use this nice white 10“ as a trap door into the moldy torture-dungeon that MÜTIILATION’s discography is. Essential!
